Actor/Singer/Model. Born in Phichit, North Thailand, September 19th in 1993.
His real name is Jirayu Tangsrisuk. His nickname is James.

He leaned social dance since early childhood, had his own band in high school. He played a bass guitar in the band. In 2011, he won a contest of cosmetics bland Mistine and stated his career as a model.

Later, Piku, the president of an entertainment agency called “META TALENT MANAGEMENT”, looked about James’s photograph on facebook, and he scout James. Seven other agencies also came for James, but he started his new career as an actor under the president Piku.

He moved to Bangkok and acted on TV drama “Suparburoot Jutathep” in 2013, which made him a star. In September of the same year, he was starred, for the first time, in the movie “First Love”, and also starred in the drama “Tong Neu Gao”. These pushed him up to the position of the young famous actor.
Japanese companies such as TOYOTA, UNIQLO, MEIJI BULGARIA YOGURT, offered him commercials. In 2014 February, his second movie, “Timeline” was released. (Okinawa International Movie Festival 2015 Special Screening Movie)

In 2015 April, his first photo-book (shot in Japan), “JAMES JI UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL IN JAPAN” was published. In the June, his concert “MAGIC JAMES THE CONCERT” was held. In the September, he appeared on the stage of TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION (TGC) 2015 AUTUMN/WINTER as a guest when he visited Japan for the study of dance and singing for two months.
On November 9th, his convention live is going to be held for the first time in Japan, which will gather 600 people (fans and media).

In 2016 January, the broadcasting of the TV show, “TABI JAPAN with James Jirayu”, started in CH.3 of the six prefectures of Tohoku region.
On the 21th, he performed as a model on the stage of YOHJI YAMAMOTO 2016-17, Autumn-Winter Paris Men’s Collection. On the March 19th, he is going to appear on the stage of the 22nd TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION 2016 SPRING/SUMMER, as a model.
On the June, he makes his debut in Japan as singer and will release a CD from Universal Music. He is expected to be even more successful as a singer/actor who is the linking bridge of the Thailand and Japan.

Where the nickname “James” came from?
My mother liked the movie “007”, so it was named after James Bond.
What’s the meaning of your name “Jirayu”?
It means “live longer”.
What is your favorite color?
Pink, it makes me calm.
What is your favorite actor?
Johnny Depp.
Which song do you like the best?
Marvin Gaye’s “Mercy Mercy Me”.
What is your charming point?
Eyes.
What kind of the place did you grow up in ?
I was born and raised in a quiet country town called Phichit, in Thailand. In the town, everyone knew each other. I lived there till I graduate the high school.
What kind of a child were you?
I leaned social dance when I was an elementary school student. At the time, I was good at Latin dance. Before summer vacation or contests, I practiced dancing for about 10 hours in a day. This experience eventually helped me when I acted dancing scenes in the first drama I was in. (Laugh)
What was your dream when you were child?
When I was child, I wanted to be a computer engineer. I was touching computer since I was four or five years old. Thanks for that, my sight got worse. So my nickname was “glasses” because I had to put glasses on. (Laugh)
Were you playing any musical instruments?
I was playing bass guitar in a band with my friends, when I was in high school.

How was the living in Bangkok before your debut?
I liked going to malls by trains.
How was the experience of being starred in the first drama?
I was really nervous because people I was seeing on TV were there. The drama “Suparburoot Jutathep” was Pentalogy run for a year. There were five main casts including me. I enter the stage as the third. It was the moment my life was changed.
What would you like to do in future?
I’d like to act a comical roll. Also, like to be an artist. I love both acting and singing, so I would be very happy if everyone likes what I like to do.
What do you do when you have time off from work?
I read books, take photographs or compose music.
What kind of books do you like?
I read various genre, but I like history book, novels and essays.
What kind of photos do you like to take?
I like photos which can tell the atmosphere of the people of the place. When you look at the photos, you remember things like “I did this, I felt that”, just like there is a switch of memories. I think it is like a miracle.
There are many camera sold in Japan, do you like that?
I like it a lot. The first place I wanted to go in Japan was camera shops. I went to many places for camera shops, such as Shinjyuku, Shibuya, Akihabara.

What did you feel about your debut in Japan?
I knew the name “Japan” since I was small, but it was a far country for me. I thought “I finally here”, when I heard that I can see the new world.
What kind of impression did you have for Japan?
Every time I come, Japanese people welcome me kindly and they give me warm supports. So I feel happy like I’m home.
Is there any experiences you did first in Japan?
I experienced hot springs and skydiving for the first time.
What Japanese word do you like the best?
I like “Doumo”. It’s interesting because it can mean anything such as “hello”, “good-bye”, “thank you”. This kind of attractive word doesn’t exist in Thai.
What Japanese food do you like the best?
I love Ra-men, Sushi, Sukiyaki, Shabu-shabu, everything was delicious.
What dose “fans” mean to you?
They are like a family. They give me supports in various kinds of situations.
As you make your debut in Japan, do you have any messages to your fans?
I think I will face a lots of new experiences, but I can’t be happier if you support me the same.
What kind of job would you like to do in Japan in future?
I’d like to study Japanese hard and to communicate more with fans. No matter what I do, acting or singing, and no matter what the result is, all I want is to make everyone happy.
What was the start of your debut?
It was a contest of cosmetic bland, which my mother applied for. I won the championship and the president of my current agency saw the photos I uploaded to my face book. He came to my house to scout me.
